Description
☀️ Single Axis Solar Tracker Project With Report PDF
The Single Axis Solar Tracker Project is an innovative engineering project designed to automatically align a solar panel with the sun to maximize energy absorption. This system uses two LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) sensors to detect the direction of sunlight and an Arduino Uno to control a micro servo motor, which rotates the solar panel along a single axis.
When sunlight intensity changes, the LDR sensors send signals to the Arduino. The Arduino processes this data and adjusts the servo motor position so the solar panel always faces the direction with maximum light. This helps improve solar energy efficiency compared to fixed solar panels.
The project is powered by a Li-ion 18650 battery with a TP4056 charging module, allowing safe battery charging and operation. The structure includes 3D printed parts and a 6 mm MDF base for a strong and stable mechanical setup.
This project is ideal for engineering students, diploma projects, science exhibitions, renewable energy demonstrations, and educational learning purposes. It demonstrates concepts of renewable energy, sensor-based automation, and microcontroller programming.
